Frequently Asked Questions
Why SeaCrafts?
SeaCraft, specifically the ‘Potter-Built', are a specially designed version of SeaCraft founder Carl Mosely’s variable-deadrise hull. Potter-Built SeaCraft included what many consider to be ahead of their time design features such as a unique nonslip sole, recirculating liner vents that prevented rot, and integrating transverse frames with longitudinal stringers. These boats were also considered to have a superior build quality and dry ride. Seachange Marine believes this is the perfect hull style to bring into the 21st century with modern amenities. With the use of today's higher quality materials and build methods, we are restoring these Classic SeaCraft's to better than their original condition with the iconic build that makes them rise above the competition.
