Our fabrication and engineering team is composed of three seasoned professionals, each bringing over 25 years of specialized experience in the marine and composites industries. Collectively, their expertise ensures that all projects are executed to the highest standards, in compliance with ABYC and U.S. Coast Guard regulations, and with a strict focus on performance, safety, and material innovation.
Eric Roehl – Ocean Engineer & Project Manager

Eric Roehl serves as the lead Ocean Engineer and Project Manager. With more than 25 years of experience in marine engineering and composite fabrication, Eric possesses deep technical expertise in vessel performance, materials engineering, and structural modifications. He is responsible for engineering design changes and validating that all alterations maintain or enhance the vessel's hydrodynamic efficiency and operational integrity. His long-standing involvement in both the boating and composites industries ensures all engineering decisions are technically sound, and performance driven.
Chris Gaines – Production Manager

Chris Gaines is the Production Manager and a composite boatbuilding specialist with over 25 years of hands-on experience. His work is grounded in a comprehensive understanding of material science, especially as it pertains to advanced composites and core materials. Chris oversees the selection and application of state-of-the-art core substrates and ensures adherence to optimal lay-up schedules for fiberglass reinforcement and structural integration. He holds multiple industry certifications in mold fabrication, resin infusion, and composite systems. Chris is also highly skilled in the mechanical fabrication, assembly, and diagnostic troubleshooting of marine systems, ensuring seamless integration of all components.
Ian Gaines – Director of Operations

Ian Gaines is the Director of Operations and brings over 25 years of marine industry experience with a focus on operations, mechanical systems, and field installations. He collaborates closely with both engineering and production leads to maintain alignment across project planning, execution, and quality assurance. Ian is responsible for overseeing all phases of project delivery—from conceptual planning through final commissioning—and ensures coordination across departments. He holds several composite fabrication certifications and is proficient in mechanical assembly, system integration, and problem-solving for complex field installations.
